Show bellydance festival in Finland

Place: SILTA-KAMPUS, Kankaantaankatu 4, Nokia
We aim to provide an opportunity for dancers to get together, try a workshop in different styles or techniques, catch up with Bellydance buddies and make new ones, shop and of course, enjoy a wide range of performances in different styles from dancers worldwide.

Goals and objectives of the festival
- Motivation for intercultural communication through the belly dance development and popularization as aesthetic and spiritual values indicator between East and West;
- Learning belly dance development trends in different countries;
- Approval of belly dance groups and calling in of new competition participants;
- Identification of talented individuals;
- Identification of the best belly dance groups and performers;
- Experience exchange among heads of public dance organizations, heads and coaches of belly dance schools across the globe;
- Organization of belly dance choreography workshops within the framework of the festival in order to increase the professional level of the performers.
Organizers of Jamila Festival
Mila Tannermaa
Teacher and soloist of “Jamila Dance” -group with over 20 years of experience in dancing. BD Judge, licensed coach of BELLYFIT®️ and a Belly Dance instructor. The main organizer of Jamila Festival and other dance activities in Finland.
Katerina Timonen – dancer and oriental dance teacher, tribal coach. Winner and finalist of dancing competitions and festivals. Healthy fitness specialist and the dancer with over 20 years of experience in the industry. The co-organizer of the Jamila Festival.
